„Po prostu wyjedź (motorem z IFMR) w Bieszczady…”
Pomysł rajdu w Bieszczadach kiełkował wśród nas od dawna.
I wreszcie się udało. Obiecywaliśmy sobie wiele i nie zawiedliśmy się.
Gościnę znaleźliśmy w Solinie u zapalonego motocyklisty (a jakże!) i jak się później okazało utalentowanego barda.
Dojazd dla niektórych z nas bardzo długi, bo nawet z Sopotu, Elbląga, Bartoszyc czy Kotliny Kłodzkiej okraszony był niezbyt przyjemną deszczową pogodą.
Ale już od następnego dnIa było coraz lepiej. Wspaniałe widoki, wędzony pstrąg nad strumieniem czy rejs statkiem po Zalewie Solińskim pozostawiły niezapomniane wrażenia. A na dodatek po kolacji nasz gospodarz dał piękny koncert, akompaniując sobie na gitarze. Świętowaliśmy też urodziny dwójki naszych przyjaciół.
Następny dzień, przy jeszcze piękniejszej pogodzie to słynne wśród motocyklistów Serpentyny Słonne, Muzeum Przemysłu Naftowego w Bóbrce (pierwszy szyb naftowy na świecie!) i obiad w agroturystycznej farmie kóz. Wspaniałe domowe zupy oraz pierogi faszerowane kozim serem w licznych wariacjach smakowały
wyśmienicie.
Po powrocie część z nas zaliczyła jeszcze przelot gondolą nad zaporą, a potem relaks w drewnianej balii z gorącą wodą mineralną z lokalnego ujęcia. A na drugi deser po kolacji jeszcze kibicowanie zwycięskiej walce naszych siatkarzy o Mistrostwo Europy.
Jak zwykle wspólny czas minął niepostrzeżenie, pozostawiając nam poczucie niedosytu. Rozstając się następnego dnia rano przed podróżą do domu, rozmawialiśmy już o następnych rajdach. Być może dłuższych, trzydniowych.
Pojawił się też tradycyjnie projekt charytatywny. Tym razem kwotą 4000zł zdecydowaliśmy się wesprzeć Ośrodek wsparcia dla ofiar przemocy w rodzinie, którym opiekuje się od lat Klub Rotary Łódź Centrum.
Najlepszą oceną atmosfery i panującego ducha, był komentarz jednego z naszych zagranicznych członków, Duńczyka: „this is when Rotary is at its best…”
„Just go (by motorbike with IFMR) to the Bieszczady Mountains…”
We have been planning a rally in the Bieszczady Mountains for a long time.
And it finally happened. We expected a lot, and we were not disappointed
We found hospitality in Solina with an avid motorcyclist (of course!) and, as it later turned out, a talented bard.
The journey was very long for some of us, even from Sopot, Elbląg, Kotlina Kłodzka or Bartoszyce because the weather was not very pleasant.
But from the next day it was getting better. Great landscapes, smoked trout by the stream and a boat cruise on the Solina Lagoon left unforgettable impressions. Moreover, after dinner, our host gave a beautiful concert, accompanying himself on the guitar. We also celebrated the birthdays of two of our friends. The next day, with even more beautiful weather, we visited the famous among motorcyclists Słonne Serpenty, the Museum of the Petroleum Industry in Bóbrka (the first oil well in the world!) and had lunch at an agritourism goat farm. Wonderful homemade soups and dumplings stuffed with goat cheese in many variations tasted delicious.
After returning, some of us took a gondola ride over the dam and then relaxed in a wooden tub with hot mineral water from a local source. And for the second dessert after dinner, we will support the victorious fight of our volleyball players for the European Championship.
As usual, our time together passed unnoticed, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. As we said goodby the next morning before heading home, we were already talking about the next rallies. Perhaps longer, three days.
There was also a traditional charity project. This time, we decided to donate the amount of PLN 4000 to the Support Center for victims of domestic violence, which has been under the care of the Łódź Centrum Rotary Club for years.
The best assessment of the atmosphere and the prevailing spirit was the comment of one of our foreign members, a Dane: “this is when Rotary is at its best…”
